Born in Paris into a family of Belgian musicians, Jeroen Suys began playing the violin at the age of 6. After his studies at the C.N.S.M. in Paris under the tutelage of Ami Flammer and later Philippe Graffin, he dedicated himself to the viola, receiving guidance from Gérard Caussé, Laurent Verney, and Pierre Lenert.

A violist with the Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Paris since 2023, he approaches the lyrical repertoire under the direction of prominent conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel and Semyon Bychkov.
